Star Wars or Star Trek?

Yes, I am aware it's space apples to astro oranges, but I know you have a preference anyway... Just movies? Just series[pl]? The prequels? The not-prequels? The old stuff? The new stuff? Deep Space Nine? TNG? The Clone Wars? Have you bothered to read any of any of the books? Is it all space junk to you?
This is intentionally viciously open-ended. Be as super-specific, super-detailed, and super-harsh as you can, and of course, pretty please tell everyone why. No incorrect responses here (other than "Phantom Menace FTW!!!!1!!11!"). Please don't bias yourself according to my predicted opinion - just tell us some stories!

Star Trek over Star Wars - much deeper philosphically
TV: Next Gen then Original then Voyager then DS9 then Enterprise
Movies: Original over Next Gen
Specific movies: Journey Home, Wrath of Khan, In Search of Spock, Motion Picture.
I actually like the ST: The Motion Picture much better than most people. It had an interesting premise, and a great solution.
By the way, did anybody notice the actor who plays Tuvok in Voyager on the bridge of the Enterprise in Generations?
